  • Since January 3, 2024, Ivanna Smachylo has worked as Deputy Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, and since September 12, 2024, she has been acting as Head of the Fund.
  • The State Property Fund of Ukraine demonstrated impressive results in 2024 - a record 9.9 billion hryvnias were raised from the privatization of state property. This is the best financial indicator in the last decade. Almost 3.5 billion of this significant amount came from the successes of small privatization. In total, together with VAT revenues, privatization replenished the state treasury by 11.1 billion hryvnias.
  • Large-scale privatization is now taking place according to new, completely transparent rules thanks to online auctions in the "Prozorro.Prodazhi" system. This modern approach, unlike outdated methods, significantly reduces corruption risks and guarantees equal access to bidding for all participants.
  • As of the beginning of the second quarter of 2025, the State Property Fund successfully privatized 49 objects of nationalized property. This ensured the receipt of over 4.1 billion hryvnias to the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. This is a vivid example of how property that previously belonged to the aggressor is now effectively working for the restoration of Ukraine.

  • 2-16 September 1996 - as Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, Mr. Yushchenko successfully carried out monetary reform (the hryvnia was adopted), created the State Treasury, and started the construction of the Banknote Printing and Minting Works.
  • 1997 – he ranked among the world's top six bankers by Global Finance magazine.
  • 1998 - with his participation, the Cabinet of Ministers and the NBU successfully averted a financial crisis, the so-called "1998 default".
  • December 1999 - May 2001 - as Prime Minister, he implemented the government's Reforms for Welfare programme, which created positive dynamics in the economy: the first GDP growth, a change in the mechanism of settlements and payments to the central and local budgets, the abolition of barter and borrowing, the improvement of the energy market, and a significant increase in budget revenues and social spending. During this one year, budget arrears in salaries, pensions and scholarships were eliminated.
  • 2005 - During Viktor Yushchenko's tenure, a record amount of foreign investment was attracted over the period of Ukraine’s independence.
